Easy to use Image Expansion with Flux Dev - FILL
Flux FILL allows you to expand an image outwards - or extend it - but the maths to work out how to do that in a asymmetrical way is extremely complex.
So I have done all of that for you - allowing you to choose between a centred all round expand - or a positioning system that lets you play with different settings for where your original image sits on the expanded page - before you run the whole process - saving valuable server time!
Guide
1) Decide whether you are running a centralised simple expand - or a bespoke one and choose the correct sections. Describe the final image once expanded.
2) Upload your starting image and choose what size it will be as part of the final image. the resizing node will work on the longest edge you set so it will keep the shape of your exosting image - and just reduce the size accordingly. Remember that flux can only make images up to certain sizes - so it can make a full size image bigger - only expand it out within its maximum sizes - so you will probably need to use the resize to reduce your starting image down first.
3) For a centralised - easy - expand - you only need to choose the final size of the output image - and the system will centralise your image within that chosen size.
4) If you have chosen an offset expand (like where you have one side of a face and you want to add the other half), choose the maths preview section - and set your output size, then keep experimenting with the LEFT and TOP offsets to choose where your original image will sit within the final picture. Once you are happy with the mask preview - that it's where you wanted - you can turn on the "Manual Positioning Expand" section to run the generation.
5) This will give you the output where your original element is where you manually positioned it to be within the image.
